Coverage
The duration of the roadside assistance program coverage matches the 36-month basic warranty of the new vehicle, regardless of mileage, and ends 36 months after the vehicle's warranty start date, unless the vehicle is covered by a Mazda Extended Protection program.
Services Offered
Tire changes and other breakdown services (work performed at the site of the breakdown).
Service calls (fuel delivery, battery jump-start, and winching).
Towing of the disabled vehicle to the nearest Mazda dealership (up to 100 km) or to a Mazda dealership of your choice if it is within 50 km of the nearest Mazda dealership (one tow per breakdown).
Reimbursement of Roadside Assistance Costs
If you use a service other than the Mazda roadside assistance program, towing costs will be reimbursed up to $200 and other expenses up to $100.
Emergency Lockout Service
If you lose, damage, or accidentally lock your key inside the vehicle, you must contact Mazda roadside assistance for help. If circumstances require you to call an independent locksmith, expenses incurred will be reimbursed up to $100.
Reimbursement of Emergency Travel Expenses
If your vehicle becomes unusable due to a collision or mechanical breakdown while you are more than 100 km from your residence, we will reimburse all reasonable expenses up to a total of $300 if these are not covered by your insurance policy.
Eligible Expenses
- Accommodation and meals
- Rental of a vehicle from a duly authorized rental agency
- Transportation to your destination and back to the place where you left your vehicle for repairs
Trip Planning and Routing
If you are planning a trip, consult our travel planning advisors who will provide you with complete information on the shortest or most scenic routes to your destination. This service includes easy-to-read maps, a travel plan with a route specific to your trip and destination, travel and driving advice, and various other elements to make your trip easier and more enjoyable.
Eligibility
The Mazda roadside assistance program is offered free of charge with all PÉM Series 12 maintenance contracts. Services will be provided to the driver of the registered Mazda vehicle. Roadside assistance is transferable to subsequent owners of the vehicle under the same terms as the Mazda Extended Protection program.
